Have you seen in the newspaper when they say “east“ in parentheses they will have (right). Can’t believe you have to actually explain to an adult that east is “right“.

Usually it’s your right. No not that right your other right.

I'm kind of surprised Orange Beach to Pensacola are not under a hurricane warning whereas the hurricane warning extents west to Morgan City.

Orange Beach and Pensacola will receive hurricane force winds before west of Grand Isle, Louisiana will. Orange Beach and Pensacola are on the worst side of Sally.

Well if they get back into the gulf at least we got a cool front coming down to protect us from round 2.

I really don't want to leave but I have a newborn and can't frick with not having power for an extended period of time. You think I should still head out? I'm in OM.

Yes.

If you didn't have a newborn, eh, I'd say it's probably going to be fine for you. But with the newborn, no sense in risking it. I'm still in BR and will be for the next two days for similar reasons.

This is such an excuse that people use and have no idea what they are talking about

But instead we have people making decisions so far in advance because we are just inundated fr with information overload

Some areas flood way before others.

Some areas will be under mandatory evacuations and some will not

Having EVERYONE try to leave a certain city or major area at the same time would be a logistical nightmare

If that were to happen you’d be one of the first ones here crying and fussing about the government not having a good enough plan to get people out in a timely manner
