I'm no fan of those 3 members that are looping it back into the Gulf

Yeah I just played around on Tropicaltidbits and there are quite a few spaghetti models showing that. That would be no good for anyone.

The center is broad and nothing really dominant has taken over. However, the last few frames on radar and satellite images seem to show the NE area of the oval taking over.

Notice how the convection goes from discombobulated to a distinct looking eyewall in the matter of an hour or so.

ETA someone let me know if this gif isn’t working. It’s an mp4.

9 AM - #Sally looks like it's forming a new center to the east of the of the current one. This could allow intensification as it becomes better organized. Next update from NHC at 10 AM

Those models are just showing where the remnant low ends up. A few of the global models have the remains of Sally percolating off the GA/FL coast in a few days before reforming and moving into the Carolinas as a weak TS.

Apparently I’m nuts because I think schools should be open when a storm is still 40 hours from landfall

Why is it hard to understand that there is a TON of liability

Im married to a lawyer... I know a thing of two about liability. BR is having a breezy, beautiful day. What exactly would anyone be liable for?

So... the center is moving... northeast?

Trying to consolidate and contract around a pressure minimum on the NE end of the elongated center.

Or simply it's not a forward movement change but an organizational one.

How do y’all think this stuff is supposed to work? If it was up to this board Lake Charles schools would have been open all week since Laura made landfall overnight and was out of the area by morning.
