When I was in Germany this past year Al Jezzera was the only English news station offered. This was in the midst of the Greece bailout, Germans were not happy, to say the least.

International media covers American news better than American media does. Fox is a 24 hour political propaganda operation aimed at about an 8th grade level of comprehension, and the others are not much better.
