You have the numbers. Figure it out

You do it calculatorman.

Remember though it isn’t that simple. All over the world where land meets water, it isn’t a perpendicular angle like a swimming pool. The land most often slopes up out of the water. So for every increment of vertical rise in water, the global surface area of the water increases. Unless you assume an average global angle between water and land (and also choose to neglect the volumes that will be held in existing depressions in land that will be covered), the calculations would take a lot more data and math

When speaking in terms of volume, saying “the size of Florida” is pretty unscientific.

Well, considering glaciers are on land, no most of it is not underwater.

You were, however, correct in your statement that you are no glacier expert.

I had a class of ICED TEA. One of the ice cubes broke in half and it overflowed the glass. I believe this will happen to the world's oceans too.

The ice sheets that "calf" icebergs are indeed already in water.

That would be an iceberg, not a glacier... glaciers reach the oceans and calve to form icebergs all the time.

The idea that this one glacier would cause 2' of sea level change is preposterous.

2 feet rise globally... possibly 10 feet if all the dominos fall.... and they wonder why no one takes this shite seriously?

I predict in 40 years we will still be using the exact same public boat launches along the Gulf Coast that your grandfathers and your dads used.

I went to Glacier National Park this past summer, and they still had glaciers. Environmental lefties lie.
It’s what they do (unapologetically).

They’re acting like this thing will sheer off and then immediately melt raising sea levels.

Adding ice to the ocean would immediately raise sea levels, doesn’t matter whether it’s melted or not.

Hell Yes!!!

The Northshore...about to become the Southshore.

In all fairness, "Scientists" have been wrong about this every time. But research grants don't fund themselves, so bring on the chaos and doom and gloom.

Just cover it with a bunch of masks. That'll take care of the problem.
