How did you enforce that? You still video taped the encounters, though, right?

That's too broad. No, nobody will remember the incident. But a competitive grad school will find out. So would the bar if you get into law school. So might some employers.
Yep, he will definitely be able to work somewhere. However, any serious grad schools including law and med school) and many professional certifications and organizations will be almost impossible to get in to. Not even mentioning running or office or any political appointments. The best thing he can do is own up to it and make honest attempts to become a better person over the next 3-5 years.

Probably depends on what part of the country the greek system is located, but he is dishonest in his argument.
Where this happened probably a very small %

"I attend LSU. Tbh this is not shocking to me whatsoever.... This behavior is very common" - instagram comment

Fraternities have essentially outlived their mission statement in this America we are creating. IMHO, that is both good and bad. When you formally put more than three 18 year old guys together (of any race) The Guy Code kicks in and stupid group psychology shite happens. That is because the biggest idiotic a-hole in the bunch somehow manages to define the bunch. With young guys, the loudest most moronic voice prevails more often than not. I have never hated anyone in my long life as much as some of the most irredeemable assholes in my fraternity at LSU. Worst fricking dishonest racist violent shite-in-their-own-ice-machine excuses for young men ever. Curiously and inexplicably living amongst some of the best human beings I ever met. That's a fraternity in a nutshell. But in a guilt-by-association Collective-Identity society, not an Institution with a bright future. Too many human variables to meet modern-day standards of decorum, because there is always "that guy". We used to just roll our eyes at "that guy" and ignore him, now he is filmed with an iPhone, put on YouTube and presented as The Authentic Voice Of White Fraternities. Dumb .
