Wow. Agree with stout. Never thought he was in that kind of place with his posting here.

Was very helpful to me when I asked questions regarding finances. RIP

Perhaps the most insightful post in this thread. Sad for his family.

Obit

And Ftr, his last post was
quote:

Cut it into 10 slices. I'm extra hungry today. ..

And in the context of MB humor, it was good for a grin.

I'll post the obituary if no one has any objections. It's relatively easy to find from the info in the MB thread

ETA: It appears he was engaged and had a child

My mom called to tell me this last night. Sad. Great guy and quality family. My best bud is married to his sister. We were groomsman together. Spent many days tailgating with him at LSU. I'll be pouring one out for him Tomm!

While this is the OT and your comment is somewhat anticipated, show some class and respect. You wouldn't say this to his family or friends in person, so don't do it here.
I mean, I think a guy that makes that last post probably would prefer to have people celebrate him in a lighthearted way, if I had to guess.

Sounds like he was a young dude, bummer of a story.

I don't see why anyone would. Plenty probably want to pay respect and/or say a prayer for him and his family.

Damn.

Very successful guy.

That's terrible to hear.

I really wish he had an alternative or confided in someone to talk to. Sounded like he had a great future ahead. God speed will

Knew him from grad school. I think he knew the tigerdroppings user name to everybody in our class.

He was a very nice, intelligent young man with quite the sense of humor.
