Guess being a real man with testosterone is a deal-breaker for you.
John Wayne was a coward who used his Hollywood connections to keep him from serving in WW2. Its believed his "super patriotism" is from him trying to deal with the fact that he was, in fact, not a "real man with testosterone" and merely a coward that liked to play dress up in front of a camera.

This woman went all out to participate in the victim Olympics.
I read the article and in her mind her greatest achievements were when others said things that hurt her already extremely sensitive feelings.
Her entire life’s work was having her feelings hurt by other people and organizations.

Right...because real Americans run and hide behind the skirts of Hollywood elites when their country calls their number. Gotcha

I like JW as much as the next red-blooded true 'murcan should but from all accounts he did pretty much puss out in WWII, he was even shamed by John Ford and others for it, Wayne would talk as if he wanted to do his part, and was given advice as to what to do and how to go about doing it, but would never pull the trigger (pun intended)

"By 1943, John Wayne was once again eligible to serve, but it still didn’t happen. A 2-A occupational deferment was submitted on his behalf by Republic Pictures. John Wayne’s breakthrough role in John Ford’s 1939 “Stagecoach” made John Wayne the studio’s only A-list actor under contract. Understandably, they didn’t want to lose him. Also, he was beginning to feel the results of his stardom, continually stating his intentions to join after “1 or 2 more.”"

How much time did you serve in the military?

This is 100% not true. He wrote famed film director John Ford multiple times, asking him to use his connections to make him eligible for service. When the studio who had him under contract found out he was trying to serve, they refused to release him from his contract as he was their only A-lister under contract. They even threatened to sue him if he attempted to break it and enlist.

from what I read he would write to Ford, and drunk dial him expressing his great desire to participate, Ford would tell him what to do but the Duke had cold feet, Jimmy Stewart relayed, in a bio I guess, how much Ford would shame Wayne on the set post war for his non-participation and Wayne would just silently take it

they would have had the US gubmnet to contend with over that, different times, and money talks, but I believe Wayne shirked his duty

This is also untrue. Ford successfully got him upgraded from ineligible for service to “1-A.” It was the studio Wayne was under contract with who kept him from enlisting once Ford worked just magic.
