My Dad got bladder cancer. They stuck a cathater in him and injected a weakened form of tuberculosis into his bladder and after a few treatments it cleared right up. It's a very effective treatment.
How someone figured that out I will never know. That must have been an odd medical pitch. Hey, maybe if we pump tuberculosis up their dick the immune system will go haywire and attack the cancer too.

People love to say these kinds of things about potential cures but it’s just not true. Any monies focused on cancer will be spread out to fight other illnesses. Cardiovascular diseases kill twice as many people as cancer each year. There are so many areas where money is needed. Luckily, those people trying to find cures for other diseases won’t die from cancer.

I understand the logic, but it is flawed if we consider the whole medical system. Everyone is going to die, and curing someone's small-cell carcinoma almost always keeps them alive to generate even more bills as they age. Keeping people alive is actually in the medical profession's financial interest long term.

Big pharma knows there is no money curing things, but the continuing 'treatments' and chemical therapies are quite lucrative.

Basic logic that produces a cute quip, but the large diversified pharma companies are not that short-sighted in general. Curing a cancer in a patient just keeps them alive to need more and more treatment over time. More cancer, CV issues, diabetes, neuro problems, and the list goes on and on. Cure someone of a poor-prognosis cancer in their 50s or 60s, and you have 20 or 30 more years of decline and multiple ailments to treat.
It is a like an auto mechanic if you could only own one car for your entire life. If they "cure" one problem, they know you are just going to continue to come back with more and more issues as the odometer continues to march forward.

A nuclear armed country currently backed in a corner against the entire western world giving their citizens anti-cancer and anti-tumor treatments sounds possibly concerning.

But there are treatment facilities set up all over the US where they focus on Cancer only. If there is a cure, places like MD anderson, will feel it. There are others. Cleveland clinic, Sloan Kettering, Mayo Clinic…. All have massive investments in cancer treatment and probably cure but they haven’t found it.
Otherwise, quick story- I had a college friend whose father had invented and patented a medical device that would have largely alleviated allergy treatments for millions of people . I don’t recall what it was. His dad ended up selling the product to a large multi national medical company for many millions. That company turned around and buried it. They didn’t want it to see the light of day. The treatment was worth more than the cure.

They gave him 11 months to live two months ago, but they gave him the option of using this experimental drug 2X/week + another time every month. Apparently this drug cocktail has been very promising......but for 20 years and it's still not FDA approved.
Regardless with all the pollutants in our lives, this would be welcome news.

Do you remember what a virus is? It is a very short segment of dna with a shell.

Not at all. I referred to him as "Herr" Fauci, hence the "Heil". The connection between the 2, and by extension the US as 3, was the totalitarian aspect of 'you will do what we say'!
