Running from the cops on a bike

Pretty much anyone with a liter super sport has run from the cops at some point, unless they got it to squid out around town(usually with a basketball jersey and backwards cap)

Those bikes go 180...and can get to 100 in seconds. So eventually you'll get hit with a radar gun going so fast, you are going to jail if you pull over. So most just ditch.

Basically..dont buy one.

Thought you meant a mongoose bike or something

Once upon a time when I was at an old job, there was a guy who rode a really fast bike any day it was even close to nice. He would absolutely fly. We had a stretch of nice days one summer where he rode for a couple weeks straight. Every day he was wide open. One day he passed a state trooper running radar who lit him up, but he had the jump and the trooper lost him. The next day was the same thing with the same cop, but he got a little bit closer. The next day he got closer. The trooper finally managed to see where he turned in, but he waited a bit. He rode the parking lot and found the bike. He came in about 20 minutes after the guy clocked in and found the supervisor's office. He asked the boss who the bike belonged to. He arrested the guy in front of everyone, had the bike impounded, and charged him with everything he could.
The guy had bragged about it, so he knew the trooper had clocked him and was after him. He ended up getting fired not long after that. I think he's in jail now for trying to kill his girlfriend who was actually his side piece.

is there a place once can ride a motorcycle on a track?

Thought most departments had stopped chasing bikers once they started running because they usually ended up killing themselves and it was easier not to have to mop up and write paperwork.

Don't understand why the cop would even give chase Sportbikes they are too maneuverable and too fast for a Police Cruiser to keep up. The only way that bike is getting caught is through the use of an aircraft.

Most of the cars were going so fast in reverse that it was annoying to the bike rider....

Most cops don't even try once they see you run.

When I used to do dumb shite on my CBR1000, I ran multiple times. Only got in two actual chases though. Most of the time they don't pursue. Hit lights, see you speed up and turn them off. No real point in trying and risking anyone's life. In Alachua they won't pursue past I believe 110.

To be honest though...the adrenaline rush is hard to match. Seeing the cop, seeing the lights flash, and just opening it up and tucking knowing it's do or die.

Which is why I will never buy another supersport. it's just to tempting and having that much power and speed under you is damn near impossible to not use.
