For 20+ years I was on a plane once a week going somewhere. I retired in 2020 and don't miss airports at all.

Not nearly as obnoxious, but yesterday at 6:00am I was sitting in the delta skyclub that was nearly empty. Two guys decide the seats right behind me were the best place to sit and have the loudest conversation possible. Annoyed the hell out of me.

Most times you can upgrade to 1st for less than $100 per flight. I do it every time to avoid this shite.

ugh, ive never been able to upgrade that cheap. its always several hundred dollars for even short flights.

In! 26 in my case. 10 state territory and toss in the corporate meetings.
I am out of that grind too. It put two kids thru MU and I was part of some amazing projects but I don't miss the travel at all. My wife can barely get me to go to town at this point.
