The guy that owns Fred's looks exactly like I figured the guy that owns Fred's would look.

Why does it take so long to replace a little bridge? Not build a new one. Just replace it.

Don't understand why they act like walking through Alvin Dark isn't just as dangerous (if not more) than crossing the Tigerland Rio Grande.

should have built the pedestrian bridge during the fall so it would be ready by the time this started. but forward thinking and planning apparently isn’t a thing in Baton Rouge

My first thought as well. And that's the dude the other Tigerland business owners got together and decided, "Marc should do the news interview. He's our best representative."

They wanted to start in the Fall but they were able to push it back.

I’d imagine Uber/Lyft fares are sky high in the area on the Weekends due to this bridge fiasco.

A similar sized bridge around the corner from me in Texas was removed and completely rebuilt within 1.5 months. I'll never understand how two neighboring states are light years in difference when it comes to roads and infrastructure upkeep.

Who are they going to sue?

If it's the railroad holding it back, they ain't winning that one.

And it looks like everyone in that video were willingly jumping into it.

They can't build one. The railroad company won't let them.

Same reason we can't get a pedestrian bridge alongside the perkins road overpass.

It's the railroad company.

You are under the erroneous impression that not being able to win at trial means you don't file a lawsuit.
