Agree.
He was just a very likeable personality, especially to everyone in Louisiana. Unfortunately, personality doesn't win football games.
(Not counting out what he did in 2019, but that was just an anomaly based on the talent level we had)

It was also eventually obvious Saban didn't want to be here.
Kelly chose the meat-grinder SEC West over a patty-cake-4 seed-playoff-shoe-in Notre Dame Schedule.
Real glad to have this guy.

Joining the SEC West will get him those quality wins and waaayyy better talent. I think he'll thrive here....

This hire was probably already done while we were all convinced Lincuck Riley was going to be our next head coach.
After the last two dumpster fires of seasons, LSU fans' heads immediately just go to the worst possible outcome, which is why we were also convinced Woodward shite the bed on the hir...
