I guess depending on how Spinosa and his relationship with Fresh Market went in Perkins Rowe, it could be one of those.

Fresh Market makes sense. Are they about 30,000 square feet?

That seems small for a Publix.

Why wouldn't a nice, most likely upscale, grocery store near your house increase your property value?

I’ll believe it when I see it. Didn’t Spinosa try to hose Alamo Drafthouse a couple of years ago, so they pulled out of their plans to open in Rouzan?

You have that backwards.

It's not Publix

Seems like a nice location for a grocery store, but BR is already over saturated with them. This will hurt other stores which really isn’t something to celebrate necessarily.

I doubt Whole Foods would put a new store that close to the original. So probably gonna be Publix or someone else looking to enter the market or aggressively expanding.

The fact that white folks aren’t building this in NBR is gonna make Gary Chambers head explode.

I think it's a Fresh Market. They were looking for a second location in town. 30,000 square feet is about that size.

They aren't fully nation wide like Whole Foods though. Mostly eastern and central US.

Wouldn't that be very close to the existing Fresh Market?

Will Baton Rouge pay for its own shopping carts and bags?

The BR Fresh Market is further away than the BR Whole Foods.

I don’t see Any way in hell this store will be a 2nd fresh market on Perkins road.

2 miles away from the other location.
