Too damn many people trying to get in an out of that area already.

If its on the same side of Lee as the apartments they could connect the Rouse's parking lot to the apartment lot so all those people would never have to get on Burbank plus you'd have people cutting through there to avoid the intersection. Could actually help.

It is going on Lee and Burbank. It looks like they'll have some new roads with connections to Arlington Townhomes and Manors. Will have entrances on both Lee and Burbank.

It's going to be on W. Lee and Burbank, directly on the other side of Burbank from the McDonald's . They cleared out all the woods the right there

Always thought a Target would do very well in that spot.

Target and Lowes were slated for this intersection. Announced in the Spring of 2008. We all know what happened over the next 12-18 months and they stopped all new projects.

the traffic is bad enough already and will not be sustainable without some improvements at the Burbank/Lee intersection.
It is a travesty the apt complexes were not mandated to improve the surrounding infrastructure, you know like normal cities do.

Aren't they doing some road expansion at the Burbank and Lee?

Not that I have heard.

They are building a connector street from Burbank to Highland right behind the McDonald's if I am not mistaken.

They need to get that gondola in place so LSU students can get to campus from those new apartments

THIS. TOPS gets cut more and more each year. Less students going to LSU. Apartments sit vacant. In come the hood rats and out goes the remaining students.
