There are some people in this world who think the governments needs to do more for them.
There are some people in this world who think the government should stay TF out of our lives, but who also believe people need to not be so selfish and act with more compassion for their fellow man.
I'm in the second category.

Right. But if your employees are making more being unemployed, then it doesn't help much. The better plan would have been to backstop the business insurers.

Also, L-O-fricking-L at the government licensing hair dressers. The amount of disappointment our founding fathers are experiencing in their graves is immeasurable.

Business Interruption insurance is crap, because they refuse to cover so many things, including impacts from pandemics.
Something I have heard is that you may start to see some kind of NFIP-type program for business interruption insurance.

I had scheduled for Monday. Got the call to reschedule and spoke with them. The decision to wait was based on the stylist being in jeopardy of having their license revoked. Seems they got a few calls from local authorities in law enforcement who want to enforce stupidity but will not come out and make a public statement. It appears they want to maintain the appearance of being “conservative” for their base supporters but will threaten the workers lively hood to get their way.
