The correct way to make abortion a legal right across the country is a constitutional amendment, just like the 19th gave women the right to vote nation wide.
Anything else is just skirting the legal system of this country because you don't like the results.
And again, I say that as someone who is very much pro-choice.

Show me where in the Constitution gives the right to Abortion?
Damon Root makes a pretty cogent case on Reason today that the Founders would have considered first trimester abortions as one of the unenumerated rights of the Ninth Amendment.

Why in the hell did they release this on a Friday morning rather than Monday? Unless they wanted to give a big FU "you aren't going to intimidate us" to the left. I mean these leftists have now had all afternoon to make their signs, buy their bats, and communicate targets for a weekend full of riots.
This week has been pretty freaking sweat though. Vouchers, Guns, and Abortion. As I wrote elsewhere, the left doesn't need to look far. RBG's legacy is forever stained because instead of letting Barry replace her she refused. She died with a Republican president and it was checkmate.
I'll enjoy tonight's urban entertainment on CNN. I'm sure they'll be "mostly peaceful".

I am not trying to take you anywhere. Not everyone on this board has ulterior motives in a discussion. I am just not on board that every "right" has to be explicitly spelled out in the Constitution.
