The point is there's no coverage outside Myrtle Beach. Nothing here in Columbia on any of the stations.
If the races were reversed, this would be the front page lede on NYT, WaPo, CNN, etc.

This happened where Hwy 521 and 17 Alternate intersect. It's about halfway between Georgetown and Andrews in a fairly rural area. The black guy was from Moncks Corner. At first I thought he may have had an outstanding warrant or something and decided he didn't want to go back to jail, but that's not the case. In Georgetown County he'll get the needle, especially for killing that girl.
