With the scams they've been reported in this thread to have pulled, how are they still in business?

If I ever get a terminal illness, they are going down. I still hate them and it's been nearly 15 years since I was last towed

Play chess.

There are many ways in which to “pay them back”. Just get creative and legally slippery.

Getting towed sucks and riverside is the worst but you weren’t parked in a visitors spot. It’s not like they fricked you over

The need for labeled spots, other than handicap, at apartment complexes is stupid.

Too bad you have to walk a bit farther to your craphole, smelly apartment.

They got me years ago, I was chasing poon at an apartment complex in the middle of a typhoon.

We didn't want to get rained on so I parked close to her door, next morning my truck was gone. Costs me $375, they broke my back side window and refused to pay for it, that was another $225.00.

Same place, young girl came to bring her grandmother her groceries and visit. Within the hour she was there they snatched her car, she went nuts.

These people are scum

Do they drive through these parking lots or use spotters? In some states, using spotters is against the law. People in many cities have sued for millions in class action lawsuits based on their local laws.

What are BR's laws?

They never got me when I was there. However, they towed my sister who was parked in visitor parking at PDP (Place du Plache) or something like that visiting her friend. I gave her money to get the car out. A few days later I was able to retrieve evidence she was legally parked. Their insurance fought it and tried to intimidate me, but they eventually settled. I’m not in town much anymore, but when I am and I see them in action I make it as difficult as possible for them to continue their racket.

someone should seriously toss a Molotov’s cocktail at their little building off river road. And burn their trucks

They are a predatory tow company and prey on college students at these apartments who don’t have money. The apts are probably guilty of some deep dicking of their resident students too allowing these assholes on their property.

They once got me for parking at Mr Gatti’s. While I was eating there.

frick that place. When the shopping center across from Chimes first opened, I parked in the large lot and walked to Chipotle thinking it was meant for all the businesses in the area.

15 minutes and over $200 later I learned otherwise

I am curious. I have been very fortunate to never have had my vehicle towed, but how do you know who to call when you come back to the spot where you left your car and it's gone, call the police? That's the only thing I'd know to do, but will the police know who towed your car to let you know how to get it back? What's the SOP?

That's messed up. Did they ever explain why they did that? Did they think you weren't at Gatti's?

My friend got towed by them once. We rallied together later that night after the bars closed and came out victorious. One of my favorite college memories.
