Sources tell THR that after issue 9, MAD will no longer be sold on newsstands and will only be available through comic book shops as well as mailed to subscribers. After issue 10, there will no longer be new content in subsequent issues save for the end-of-year specials (those will be all-new). Beginning with issue 11, the magazine will only feature previously published content — classic and best-of nostalgic fare — from its massive fault of the past 67 years. DC, however, will also continue to publish MAD books and special collections.

I used to suscribe to MAD and Cracked as a kid. Haven't seen either in over a decade

One of my favorite magazines when I was younger.
Truthfully, I didn't realize that it was still around.

If it was as unfunny as their shite TV show I'm surprised it didn't told decades ago

With the way that anything offends everybody these days, magazine sales should be off the chart.
Seriously... it's ripe for opportunity.

One of their fake magazine spoofs in the 70s was entitled “Bitter Homes & Garbage”.
Pretty good content for adolescent me way back in the day.

Maybe somebody will buy it and keep it going.
Maybe I'll buy it.
How much you think it would take?

Satire is dead for the most part. People have lost the ability to laugh at themselves. In this age of doxxing and endless lawsuits, it wouldn’t be worth it.

Love that magazine. Just having one around brings a great amount of nostalgia. Another little light gone out in the world.
