About 1:20 minutes long...good watch.

Will you remember me?
WiIl you remember me?
Will you remember me?
That's what I'm talkin about
When my life runs out
Will you remember me?
I was the guy that could drink you under the table
I was the last one when the whiskey was gone
I was always ready willing and able
You know I did it right when it comes to doin wrong
I had more tattoos
I could drink more booze
I made my livin with a guitar and a gun
You know I robbed more banks than jesse james
I was public enemy number one
I was the guy that your parents warned you about
I was everything you wanted to be
So when I'm dead and gone
Will you still sing my song?
Will you remember me?
Will you remember me?
Will you remember me?
That's what I'm talkin about
When my life runs out
Will you remember me?
I was the guy that wrote the songs the whole world was singin
I played in every honky-tonk from Dallas to Bangamine
I sang "please come to boston" and "tennessee whiskey"
I am the guy that sang "You never even called me by my name."
I once was the amazing ah but now I'm so amazed
I lived my life in the foot lights, yes I grew up on the stage
You know I payed my dues, I done my time
Now my friends are all dying ya see
But before I go, I just wanna know
Will you remember me?
Will you remember me?
Will you remember me?
That's what I'm talkin about
When my life runs out
Will you remember me?

That's the concert. Funny story. Was on our way to the fairgrounds and was listening to WYNK and the DJ informs us that no glass containers at the event. We had two ice chests full of PBR's that were on sale for 5.99 a case, 12oz bottles. We do a U turn and head to the closest store, bar and end up at a titty bar. Buy two six packs of Bud heavy cans and put them on top of the beer in each ice chest. The bar charged us two dollars a can, there goes our discount. Walk thru with no problems. CSB.

Authentic to the core. Scott Weiland wished he could change looks as smooth as DAC.

I saw him at the Texas club 10 or 15 years ago. Probably the last time he was there. I was in my early or mid 20's so of course I got piss drunk. I don't remember much of it. Wish I did. I do remember them helping him on and off the stage and thinking shite he is going to die any day. He held on for way longer than I thought he would.
I had somebody tell me before I went that he would not play with the air conditioning on. Sure enough when he came out there they turned the AC off. It got hot as shite in there.

Saw him play in a country bar in Hammond around 2000. He was passing through on his way to one of the Casinos for a show. A friend was a DJ there so we sat on the stage in the booth with him so got up close with DAC and talked him and all. Dude was so high it was actually impressive that he made the walk from his bus outside. Dude attempted to rap and sung nothing anyone was familiar with. Finished with about 30 seconds you "You never called me by my name" and left. Talked to someone who went to the casino show the next night an they said he was perfectly sober and put on a great show.

Dude wrote a top 3 bar song of all time.

Who would've thought that DAC would garner a substantial OT thread upon his passing

Robert E Lee's closed in 1995. Waylon died in 2002, Must've been Wranglers or the Double Deuce.

Hate to be that guy that bumps an older topic but been on a DAC kick lately since he died. That man, no matter what you think of him, could write songs
Not just X stuff or sing along songs
