Who is Luke Bryan? Never heard of him

Man we wore out Life of the Party at the fraternity house
When I first met my Texas wife I would talk to her about Texas using lines and places from Texas country songs. It took her months before she realized I was messing with her and nearly all my references/stories were stolen from Robison and Keen songs.
RIP

You might be confused. Emily has never ever been fat

Damn, I was planning on going to see him now that he was back playing. This sucks, love his music.
He was looking quite rough, I guess retirement wasn't nice to him.

God damn these big city blues. Rest in peace to a fantastic talent.

Damn. I listened to a ton of Texas Country when I lived in Houston. Hell, still do. The music is so much better than Nashville bubble gum pop rock.
He was a defining force in my taste in music. Without him, Jason Boland and Lucero idk what I would be listening to these days.

I saw that he had cancelled the rest of the shows on this comeback tour. I’m starting to think that the vocal cord surgery was cancer and that the comeback thing was really a farewell.

Constant rotation of Pat Green, Charlie Robinson, Cory Morrow and Robert Earl Keen. No worries in the world.
Add Cody Canada, Jason Boland and Mike and the Moonpies and you’ve got a solid package.

Also roger creager. Who I still need to see. If anybody here lives around San Antonio/hill country let’s make it happen!

I'm dead serious I've never heard of this guy. I just googled him and not sure I've ever heard a single song of his

Fat? He’s alluded to her drug use, and a possible eating disorder.
“Sister says she might need a little more blow”
“I promise you she’s never gonna get real fat”

Really sorry to hear this.

Been a rough day since a friend called me with the news. Got to know Charlie some when he moved to Rockport part time 10 or 12 years ago. I was a huge fan growing up, he was as real as you could imagine in real life. He partied hard in the years after his divorce and his Nashville years, at some point he decided he had enough of that lifestyle and settled down with his new wife, they had a son three years ago. We hadn't talked much since he moved back to San Antonio full time, we were going to catch up last weekend at his Gruene Hall Birthday shows but his health had taken a turn for the worse. RIP to the Life of the Party, I will see you on the other side my friend.
