Dude was an absolutely mainstay on my radio through highschool and college. One of the greats as far as I’m concerned

Was a staple when I got into TX country in high school (~2000-04). Great musician and will be greatly missed.

Damn. I listened to a ton of Texas Country when I lived in Houston. Hell, still do. The music is so much better than Nashville bubble gum pop rock.
Here's a catchy one from Charlie.

Damn… I’ll see you in Houston, if I ever get out that way, Charlie. He’s a fixture on my playlist to this day.

I used to tell my wife a few of his songs were about us
The wedding song. Been married 28 years despite our fussing

Take me back to the early 2000s in college.
Constant rotation of Pat Green, Charlie Robinson, Cory Morrow and Robert Earl Keen. No worries in the world.
All that music still holds up

Charlie's song John O'Reilly on YouTube
Loved all of Charlie's music. Always listened to this one on St. Patty's Day.

Damn good artist. And no, he's not a jingle writer, Roger.

He was a good one. Underrated, for sure. RIP, Charlie.
