If this is the float I’m thinking of, there was a douche on the top/rear, sidewalk side, that was throwing full bags of beads straight down onto kids with all he had. He threw about 3 or 4. He was a fricking drunk idiot. This was near Jackson/St. Charles.

I would like to know the whole story. Federal agents? From what department? Were they in uniform? Also, were they targeted or did they get hit with beads on the same way thay everbody gets hits with beads on a parade route?

It's perfectly fine to pull an idiot off the float who is humming beads at kids. It's not perfectly fine to lie about it and say the whole float was targeting federal agents. Just pull the drunk idiot off and move on or pull the float off and tell the truth. Making a drunk idiot a political statement is stupid.

Cops boarded our float on Thoth and initially wanted to shut us down before realizing it was a different float. Had me scared shitless to throw to any cops lol

The guy with the f ice sign was out at Philip and st Charles on Saturday. He sets up there every year in front of mcgehee.
It was so out of place to have the sign during iris and tucks.
Looked like he had it setup to light up during night parades
Older guy, long hair, kilt, I’ve chatted with him a little here and there through the years from being adjacent to his set up a few times. Does software/tech stuff for work.
When that past post referenced the star in place of the u on the sign and that he was doing it Saturday…. Pretty sure it’s him

Same - jackasses on this float pegged me in the chest with a bag of beads. IDGAF, but thought "God damn, I need to pay attention" and then somebody right after hit the college aged girl next to us with a bag in the head. They were throwing at people, not to people.
They were drunk and throwing stuff big enough and hard enough to hurt people.
My guess is the "they got pulled off for throwing one bead at one cop/agent" is just bullshite to deflect attention.

They should just come out and say the floats in Carrollton and Thoth were throwing too hard.
