But the only permanent residents are lift monkeys.

Can't wait to go in two weeks.

Do I get to choose the "small town"? Can I be the richest person in, say, Aspen, CO?

No.. similar crime rate to a really nice part.

I live in a very small town in the middle of nowhere, yet we have several millionaires, would love to have more money than those dudes.

Ascension Parish has a few hidden rich people. Mainly because they do not flaunt it and their wealth is tied to the land they own.

Richest man in a small town. That means I can live on the water, build my own private airfield, and fly myself anywhere I want to go at anytime. I can run the whole area as a fiefdom and a springboard to higher office. You can afford vacation homes and condos elsewhere (condo near LSU for games, condo in New Orleans near the Dome, Condo on the beach, ski lodge in the mountains, etc).

Usually the nicest area of a city is filled with insufferable pricks.

Maybe
I'd probably rather be average for Buckhead or Highland Park rather than king of New Iberia or some shite
Posted on 9/2/17 at 1:46 pm to Pettifogger
King of Granbury, Texas or below average Highland Park?
That was my intended question. If you're middle class in HP, you're below average

Being a big fish in a small pond would be great.
