So far TMZ is the only outlet reporting…

They are always right. My wife and I were in Hollywood/LA last year and I saw a TMZ pap and talked to him for 10 minutes. He said they have the whole city on their payroll and speed dial.

Political, cops, morgue, doctors, etc. He said Harvey requires them to get 3 sources before they go live. Say what you will but if they are running it, he dead.

Richard Simmons is probably the first celebrity that I asked myself, "Why are they famous?"

He was the first gay man.

What did he die of?

for many many years Richard and his family put on a big Mother’s Day party at the Hyatt for mothers who were elderly and alone and/or in nursing homes. I worked there for many years and got to know him and his family.

They put on a huge meal and show and showered the ladies with Mother’s Day gifts. It was a sight to see how happy he made them and how special he made them feel

RIP

Is that above average? I feel like that's young for a health and fitness guru. He was healthy as far as I know.

Endurance athletes usually die around that age. Too much of a good thing knows no boundaries. You’ll find conflicting studies, but it stresses the heart to have too much cardio.

Met / talked with him a number of times over the years but none within the last 10 or so. Before Katrina him and Irma Thomas used to do a Mother’s Day brunch for moms that was run through volunteere of America. Those old ladies loved him.

5 pages and no Richard Simmons Howard Stern appearance.

One of my favorites from the Archive of his channel 9 days.
