There is a guy in my neighborhood with one of these bad boys and I keep trying to get him to sell it to me. He won't budge.

Bronco looks good. The Ram is as ugly as retarded sin. Chevy is just boring like all chevys.

Ford 9" axles, v8 engine, beefier transfer case, larger brakes, at least 1000 more pounds of curb weight, larger wheel base. I'd say you're full of shite.

In the year 2016 when Ford trucks are made of aluminum and the once off-road capable Explorer is a unibody based on a Taurus chassis, what makes you think a 2017+ Bronco would offer any of the features you just described? If the Bronco comes back to market, it's coming back solely to compete with the Jeep Wrangler and slotted in just right as not to cannibalize Explorer and F150 sales. It would likely be an aluminum unibody based on a shortened global small truck platform with a turbo 4 or 6. Not sure why everyone is convinced Ford is going to bring back a monster truck.

I have an '83 Bronco, and I wouldn't trade it for any of those concept trucks. It's way cooler.

Man, that Bronco is seriously legit. I'd buy one immediately.

but if they'd bring one of these back at around 30k,

Go look up 60's and early 70's Broncos for sale. They can sell up to 50k for one in great condition. No way Ford puts one of these in the market for less than 50-60K.

If that's how vehicle pricing worked, then a Hellcat Challenger would MSRP at $500,000+. Ford wouldn't price a new Bronco more than the $30,000-$50,000 range.

Supply and demand. They'd be closer to Toyota FJ pricing IMO.

It is odd to me none of the big guys make something to compete with the Jeep. The jeep/ bronco/ scout / Land Rover off road basic shell is a time tested concept that people love and works.

My grandpa had a black 79 or 80 model bronco with the 400. That thing was a beast. I remember he spun the rims inside the tires one time when it was stuck

Okay, enlighten me please. In case you're unaware, Bronco = two door off-roader. Likewise, Wrangler = two door off-roader. So what am I missing here? You're telling me the Bronco is supposed to compete with a 4 door Tahoe or Durango? I guess technically it could in that they are all SUVs....but that's it.

Jeeps are chick cars now.

We're just hoping that if the Bronco comes back they'd build it geared for Heavy Duty performance with beefier, stronger components that can handle doing all the fun outdoor masculine stuff we like to do.

Jeeps might as well come with a baby stroller, starbucks sized cup holders and tampon dispensers.

Why wouldn't it? Jeep is making a killing with very little competition.

Ford isn't coming out with 4 new SUVs just to SOLELY compete with the wrangler.

Yeah that's exactly it. New jeep wranglers are more "road" jeeps than off road now. Also ford would not come out with the bronco to solely challenge the wrangler.
