I'd like a new Bronco. But, I agree they will just puss it up with electronics, soft riding suspension, leather seats and sell it to soccer moms and douchebags for 60 grand +.

I wouldn't take one even if it was free. Ford/ Dodge would put too many crappy electronics in it.
I would buy one of these in a heartbeat if they're ever sold here. 70 series with a diesel

that forest green Z71 looks badass
Looks like crap IMO. The modernized grill is just terrible. Why even bother with an attempt at a throwback if you're gonna put that bullshite on there?
That white Bronco G6 might be the first Ford I've ever owned.

lets not forget the Jeep Cherokee Chief concepts
Dodges new power wagon ended up nothing like it's concept
but hardly does homage to the original
in your post...

A non removable hardtop for that Bronco, I'll pass.

Total deal killer for me as well.

Yeah that's exactly it. New jeep wranglers are more "road" jeeps than off road now
You've never been off road in one, have you?
If you put rock rails on a Rubi, even if it is all stock Rubi otherwise, I can get that jeep up just about any trail.

Also ford would not come out with the bronco to solely challenge the wrangler
It's a technicality. The Tacoma and F150 are both pickup trucks, but hardly anyone would argue they truly compete with one another. If Ford brings back a two door SUV, it's going to compete with other two door SUV's...and as far as I know, there is only one other two door SUV - the Jeep Wrangler. I don't understand your logic on this.

I'm amazed they haven't reintroduced the Ram Charger already.

I have a 92 Bronco and I LOVE that dude. I'm gonna do a complete restore on it and hop the engine up a bit and make a weekend play buggy out of it.
Not a Dodge fan but that Ramcharger is sweet.
The new style Bronco makes it move but like another poster said, they'll just fill it full of frills trying to sell it to soccer moms and it'll end up being $60K.

What about it? It's a direct competitor to a Tacoma. I said F150 vs Tacoma to show that a Bronco, while still an suv, would be squarely in Wrangler market. Just like a Tacoma, while still a truck, is squarely in mid-size truck market.

Range Rover Evoque and recently departed FJ are 2 door

bring one of these back at around 30k,
So you want a 4x4 2 door SUV at 30k?
