Is it common to have “reply all” idiots no matter the skill level of the employee or the level of success the company?
We have a company of about 600 that is part of of a family of companies under a large parent company and it just amazes me how many employees have to “reply all” - geez

I work for a large global company and one day someone from IT messed something up and sent an email out to everyone. Guessing around 15,000 people.
Within minutes the nimrods starting replying to all asking to be removed from the distribution list. In all I think there were over 100 replies in four or so hours and a good percentage of the replies were people asking others to stop replying to all.

These responses are dumb. I know, he made a spelling error. My phone just randomly changes words to shite I'm not even trying to write all the time.
I have not made a hannity of checking my scentences. I should though.

Even better are the morans that will send an email about something small, like, "I'll be out for a dentist appointment this afternoon", to the "Company_All" email, so that the entire plant has to know Mike in finance will be out later today.
