Seems like the safest route would be to reopen by metropolitan area. Potential cluster f if Jeff opens & Orleans remains closed.

Unpopular opinion: Any city that I-10 runs through or is south of it should stay closed till June 1st. Open the north part of the state back up.

Montegut should open first, followed by Ville Platte then French Settlement.

It’s all in the timing, like an internal combustion engine.

GTFO, Caddo parish has more cases than all of the Acadiana parishes combined.

I’d be more upset if I were a short, gold chain and white rubber boots wearing baw from down the bayou.

But hey, to each his own.

If we could trust that only businesses that required physical presence (as opposed to those that can work remotely) to reopen, it would be much easier but you know as soon as anything close to a green light is given, all the fricking POS “asses in seats” micromanager bosses and going to have all hands on board regardless whether it’s necessary or not.

This motherfricker lives in North Louisiana and talkin shite about South Louisiana.

Milk has more culture than north Louisiana.

Should definitely go by Metro area. You don't need parishes around New Orleans opening back up before New Orleans does. Same for BR. But it also doesn't make sense to have Lafayette Parish open up and every other parish around closed. If the Metro area is ready, open the whole thing.

What will happen is that the state will wait on NOLA to reopen. It's hugely political and JBE isn't going to rock the NOLA boat.

My parish won't....I've already gotten a call from my barber with his date to open and it is before 5/1....pretty easy decision if you are burning through your retirement funds to get through this.
