Nutria are not rats.
People call them rats because there is a fur bearing critter called muskrats. They are just confused.
I don’t eat nutria as a frequent dish. I did eat some once at a camp.
Bring me all of the poule d’eau that you don’t want. Chedballz will take the leftovers I am sure.
You can call them coots if you want.
Poule d’eau translates to “ water chicken”. If you would be kind enough to shoot me a mess of them I’ll show how to make gumbo with them.
And the best thing about being a “Coonass” is we don’t give a frick what anybody thinks.
