This would be my concern. Someone drowns or gets injured and you'll probably get sued to oblivion

I can just imagine the Carnival Cruise Line food court experience happening in your backyard. What fun for the neighbors

Y’all are the people talked about in the earlier thread about being too scared to have some fun.

First, there's nothing fun about having a bunch of strangers pissing in your pool.

Second, this is an obvious troll if you can't see the liability here.

I don't think 'they' have found out about it yet. But it's only a matter of time

I said "class", not race. I don't want trashy whites filling the pool with broken glass either.

Saw this pitch on Shark Tank several years ago. Genius idea for the business creator but it’s a hell no from me as a pool owner.

Prices ranged from $30/hr to $199/hr. Also saw places were 8-20 people could be invited

lol good god you’re gonna get some truly horrifying creatures in your backyard for $30 hr.

Even at $200 an hour that’s not worth all the risk unless I’m renting that thing out full time everyday….. maybe

Not much difference between renting an Air BnB.

A neighbor down the street bought a house at the top of his price range and has been renting out his backyards for a dog to come run. It isn't very often, but I guess it helps them some. We have 2 acre lots and I guess apartment dwellers like to bring their dogs out to stretch their legs.

Renting out my pool and backyard is certainly not for me. I work too hard on my crap to introduce a risk to me keeping it.

Insurance companies are already creating algorithms to see if any of these renters are their clients.

The lawsuits will rain down.

My wife's group is just a bunch of middle aged/over the hill nurses. So all you get out of them is a bunch of loud arse cackling.

And not one has a pool or access to a pool they don't have to rent? Particularly if they live in the south where pools are pretty ubiquitous.

No offense, but this kind of sounds like one of those sites/market where brokedicks can rent a "luxury vehicle" such as a BMW 3 series or Buick Enclave to drive around and pretend they aren't a brokedick

No way in hell, would I rent out my backyard for anything for the same reason that I would never sell anything from my house on Facebook? I don’t want weirdos showing up at my house.

I can imagine. A group of “.teens” will say you’re racist and fake an injury. Multiply this times 7 or 8.

No offense taken. The hostess is the Karen, who arranged all this. So the group is just going along to appease her.

I think it is silly. But the homeowner is a female, so the ladies aren't too worried about some pervert.

No fracking way. For too many reasons to count but the main reason being legal liability.

Not even in the middle of the night, while you’re asleep?

SEALs rec swimming is based on the type of obstacles Buds recruits are familiar with, except this is a residential maneuver. Mission objectives include, but are not limited to slipping in under the cover of darkness, skinny dipping for as long as you can, without being detected, make a hasty retreat before reveille, then arrive for morning chow unscathed.

This is your mission, should you choose to accept it.*

We used to call that O.P.P. - Other Peoples Pools. Ride around after midnight with a bunch of drunk teens in the back of a pickup truck looking for signs of a pool in a back yard, jump the fence, get a few cannonballs in before hauling arse around the time the lights started clicking on. Would hit all the hotel pools in town too. The trick was you had to look for signs of a dog before fully commiting as you didn't want to jump a fence that had a doberman

Hard to do this kind of stunt these days with everyone having security cameras and neighborhood FB apps
