How about don't take stuff that doesn't belong to you?

Get you a paintball gun with the pepper spray ammo and let em have it.

Just not true. There have been several cases of home owners/car woners killing people and nothing has happened to them including one case in Buckhead where a 'youth' was breaking into a car in a shopping center parking lot and was shot in the back while inside the car pilfering and nothing happened to the shooter. Each case is different and has different circumstances.

This is a whole different issue. Have you seen how fat and lazy people are today? There is no way these people will try and use physical force because they can't. They would get obliterated in a physical confrontation or fist fight.

This is my attitude. If you are going to try and steal from someone and you catch a bullet or a brutal beating then that's your problem for essentially FAFOing.

Cleaning his gun and it just went off.
Coincidentally while pointed at porch pirates.

Pretty sure every state has laws about not being able to shoot an unarmed thief that does not pose an immediate threat to you, or your family's, wellbeing. And once you pull that gun and start firing, I am sure the burden of proof will then fall on you. Or you roll the dice that you get a few sympathetic jurors.

That's why we need laws to make it legal to shoot people on your property trying to steal stuff.

I support the second amendment, but I wish people would stop grabbing their gun for every offense. There are non-lethal means that should be attempted first if the situation warrants it. There are non-lethal weapons. If someone breaks into your home or there is another situation where your life is threatened, then by all means do what you have to do.
But killing someone for stealing an Amazon package from your porch is an insane overreaction, even if it is incredibly infuriating.
If you freeze some paint balls those will hurt like hell but not break the skin.

Screw it…wish I could sit on his jury. I don’t give a crap about his background. Not freaking guilty. We have to send a message. My package is worth more to me than your stinking life. Period.

Why? Why should we consider the life of a thief to be worth more than whatever might be in the package they are stealing. What if it's food or medicine I need to live? What does it matter anyways? DON'T STEAL STUFF, YOU WON'T RISK GETTING SHOT BY A HOMEOWNER. Could it possibly be any simpler?
Besides, how do I know you are not just feigning stealing a package in an effort to break into my house to do me harm?

Currently Louisiana law only allows the use of deadly force for the protection of life, not property. Texas, on the other hand, allows for the protection of both.

Good on those baws. Anyone who steals a package off someone's porch deserves to be shot every single time

Don’t steal my package and there won’t be any issues.
Also, my valuing my hard earned possessions more than a thief’s life is the least of things that would qualify me as a “psychopath”.
