The LED light will, the circuit control board however, will not.

Did you actually believe light bulb companies would sell a product that lasts that long? They'd basically be cutting their own throats.

The cheap ones usually don't. I've got some brand name ones that are close to 10 years old and still going strong.

They last longer than the incandescent bulbs but not nearly as long as advertised. That ban was stupid. I have a few lights in my house where I actually preferred using the old school light bulbs, particularly on dimmers. The LEDs suck for that.

I still have some working cfls from like 2007.

And I have only had one LED go bad on me. I've had most of them 5-7years.

A better question is why do some people think using LED lights in their house is harmful?

Remember when the "squiggly" bulbs were going to save the rainforest and reverse global warming?

20 years at 3 hrs a day of use. Who uses a light for 3 hours a day?

Now, they do last longer than the old bulbs... but 10-20 years, no

Yeah I get less than a year out of them. Usually start flickering or have a dim glow when you turn them off. I hate them

I'm 5 years in with about 150 of them and i just replaced my second one. First one worked but had a bizarre hum that was annoying and i had the first one actually go out a couple days ago.

Very few things piss me off more than going to buy light bulbs and realizing/wondering (1) how cheap they used to be; (2) how overpriced they are now; and (3) how many people are making millions off the scam "science" that precludes the rest of us from just buying some cheap fricking light bulbs.

Is there no longer a workaround for IC bulbs. I hate LEDS because the light is fuzzy. It’s like a high frequency strobe or something.
