You don't even have to study for that and if you do, you can max out at maybe four hours.

Random guessing can probably pass it

I disagree. The MPRE is not nearly as tough as the bar exam or even the LSAT, but it’s no so easy a caveman can do it either. It takes some preparation, and Louisiana requires a higher score to “pass” than does nearly all other states. It’s not about what’s right, but what’s legal, and that can be murky. The answer is never the obvious evil answer or the obvious good one. It’s usually some kind of half-devious/flaccid regulation.
A blind drunk could not pass it. It takes at least some serious study for a week or two.

I spent maybe a day studying for it and was ticked off that I wasted that much time. The only questions that wouldn't be obvious to any person of the street were the questions regarding judicial election campaigns and there were maybe 2 of those.

But a 99 was “unobtainable and impossible to achieve” on that test
horseshite. I know a ton of people that got > 100 because the exam is curved.

I feel really bad for this chick. This whole thing is pretty petty in the overall scheme of things.

She lied more than once about passing the ethics portion of the bar That's actually kind of a big red flag for her ethics if you ask me

I'd like to know how many cases she won. And what the prosecutor who lost must be thinking.

That she read a book.

Faking as a lawyer isn’t the same as posing as a doctor.

She literally could have spoken with coworkers and read some books and been fine.

Lawyers just want to be the only ones to be able to do that and get paid.

Yes, it is that easy.

I think we just found the over confident 1L in their first semester.

Nevermind the fact that a blind and drunk monkey could get an 80 on the MPRE
.

Maybe I am remembering this wrong, but isn't it not a true 0-100 grading scale? Isn't a max score like 120 or 140?

Is that not what everyone in every profession wants?

You are correct. It's a scaled score with a curve, so you can get above a 100

Max score is 150, the minimum score is 50, the mean score hovers around 95.

In other words, if you score a 69, you are clinically retarded.

I took the MPRE the morning of the “Game of the Century” in 2011

i took mine in 2008 on the date of the Bama-LSU game. fricking cannons were going off on campus a few hundred yards away from the dungeon where we took the test

then i ended up meeting up with bbap, ramrod and company and actually got a free ticket. then almost got ejected with ronnie mex for smoking a cigarette in teh entrance area to Tiger Stadium

Can't recall what I got on the MPRE since it's been over a decade but I think, at most, I bought some commercial outline and studied for a week. I don't know how it's possible for someone to pass the bar but not pass the MPRE.
