E170/175 are fine, in fact sometimes I seek them out if I can cheap out and guarantee no middle seat in a basic fare, but I avoid the E145 and CRJ family if possible.

Regional Jets are a vast improvement over the Saabs & ATR props that preceded them.

It's like getting a ride on Space Mountain as lagniappe. I'm a fan.

Turbulence is just a reminder that you’re still alive.

Not to double post, but the CRJ is the best non-private flying experience you can get for domestic flights.

Insanity. I'll take an E over a CRJ any day of the week and twice on Sunday

I like the Embraer 170/190s

Can fit a full size carry on and no middle seat

So…were you like the lawyer girl in Landman downing drinks and cheering the second half of the flight?

You’d be surprised at how many pilots flying legacy birds are doing this

I fly pretty big jets for a living and I still feel a lot of bumps.

I agree. If I can’t fly in a B787, B747, A350, or A380, I don’t fly.

I used to love flying in the smaller jets that had a single seat on one side of the aisle. You got an aisle seat, a window seat, and nobody beside you. Awesome for sleeping.

Good gawd…of all the things to bitch about. Reg jets aren’t as smooth as a mainline aircraft but sure beat the old Turbo props. The Embraer 175-190’s are fantastic regionals. Stop being such a pansy

Really want to get on one of those. Not sure I’ll ever have the chance.

This is borderline retarded. You must not fly domestic

I don’t disagree, but I’m taking either one over a 737/A32X

Twenty years ago when I lived in SW Florida I had to travel to Beaumont several times for work. At that time the only way to get there was fly from Ft Myers to Dallas and the rest of the way to Beaumont on one of those jets. Those flights never had many passengers on them. I remember one time me and another guy were the only passengers. And on those flights there was one flight attendant.

It’s imperative to get A1 or B1 when flying on a CRJ.

It still sucks. But it sucks significantly less than setting passed the first row.
