Would bootlegged alcohol be cheaper than legal alcohol?

Are underground gambling activities cheaper than legal gambling?

State regulations are ridiculous for this shite.
Requiring sick people to attend a class and pay $200 for a "medical" card is asinine and simply a way to feed the hogs at the trough.

Because of this ^

My med card expired today, I was paying 1% but prices never go down so I let it expire. I’m not paying 35% for rec so I’m done.

Nothing funny about it.

Lots of people on chemo need it, and its just a bunch of bullshite fees and red tape.

Now those bankrupt dispensary pharmacists can join the other 1000 pharmacists about to be unemployed amidst the big mergers, acquisitions, and bankruptcies currently ongoing in the profession. I bet those guys are fun at parties.

Legit medical patients allowed a bunch of trashy stoners to hitch their wagon and co-signed the weed movement. Hate to see it.

Back to the illegal dealing market.
All I know is every time you stop at a light in BR it smells like skunk. Some women came into my friends daquiri bar and I was getting high just standing next to them. This was around 3:30 in the afternoon. Probably just picked up the kids from school.

if the feds ever legalize it then expect a huge tax.

The R bill introduced wanted a 6% tax. It was crushed because the D's were demanding 24-26% federal tax. Getting too greedy puts the street corner guy in the driver's seat.

"Tax and Regulate" is always a terrible idea.

The only outcome would be ridiculous government regulations which would drive people to illegal prostitution.

Yep. This would have only worked if pot-smokers weren't already well aware of street value. Unless weed can somehow diversify the way alcohol does, I don't see that ever being a good line of business... in the legally operated sense.

That feels like every city now. They’re dirty, trash everywhere, graffiti, homeless people on the sidewalks, and the constant smell of weed.

I was in Cali last week for work, stopped by a dispensary and bought an ounce of nice sativa flower for $92.

All dispensories have cheap ounces. It's their stock that's getting old or it's just not a so great bud.

Places in DC have the $99/ounce crap, and they have the $350-$400/ounce high quality "boutique" bud.

Regulated differently, but legalization didnt end bootlegging.

If its ever legalized across the country, unified regulations will help the weed industry. Right now everything from cultivation to testing to retail marketing have to be done in State, and its all heavily regulated.

Dudes should be able to set up booths and sell that shite.

Let the market work itself out. Since medical marijuana was legalized in Oklahoma a few years ago there is like 3 weed shops in every strip mall. If 75% of them go out of business there will still be a store every block or so. The strong ones will survive.
