Those kids from up north just wanna scream “suck that tiger dick bitch” and be inundated with all the culture

I talked to a lot of them and the real crown jewel of the carpet baggers is the freedom to drink from plastic solo cups while eating cold chicken tenders under a tree. They’ve never experienced such sophistication up north

Maybe Louisiana kids can fill up the many other universities we have for such a small population of college bound people.

These are the rates for today:

UT- Austin estimate for instate living on campus: $32,344-$35,152

TAMU estimate for instate living on campus: $30, 574

LSU Non-resident: $44,552

They could have also had scholarships that waived out of state fees. I know the one semester I went to A&M I had a scholarship that also gave me in-state tuition rates.

Yes all SEC schools are attracting kids from NorthEast now.

The easiest way to explain this phenomenon is to go watch and compare the TikTok/Instagram sorority rush videos from MIT's Alpha Chi and Ole Miss's Alpha Chi.

The 'scenery', the production quality, dare I say artistry - everything about the SEC sorority videos is superior. The MIT/Ivy sorority dance videos are filled with flat Asian chicks who are 'dancing' about as well as the average middle aged dude.

The culture for Gen Z is shifting south. This is a good sign.

My squid was a Pi Phi at Arkansas who unfortunately rushed in 2020 during Covid. Those kiddos missed out on so much campus life, sports, etc.

She showed me a video from bid day this past August and it was a record, 2200 screaming girls in the Greek Theatre. It was incredible.

We’re from Louisiana

This is the key here. It’s harder to get accepted as an instate student than out of state. Out of state kids pay full freight. This is happening in many states

High cost of tuition at flagship Midwest schools and weather in the south probably play large parts in these collegiate decisions.

Alabama has recruiters all across the country for out of state kids. With football being up, Bama has gotten to the point where the university wants as many OOS kids as possible for the extra tuition money. Seems like many SEC schools are doing the same. LSU, OM, Tennessee, Auburn

Universities encourage this because they make more money off out of state students. But your tax dollars pay a lot to the school. Eventually your kids want be able to attend. It’s a means to keep the financial pie growing so they can afford to pay the raises and benefits that LSU administrators get!
