I had great luck with a cheap mattress this time.
I had paid big bucks for one and it didn't last and they replaced it and the replacement did not last.

I paid $183.

There are a lot of popular mattress brands available on the market such as Casper, Tulo, Tuft & Needle, Zinus, Olee Sleep, Signature Sleep, Sweetnight, Modway, Inofia, Ssecretland, Ashley, Lucid, Linenspa, Classic Brands, Tempurpedic, etc. But you have to consider some essential factors before buying a new mattress. According to Mattress Insight, you have to consider the firmness, comfort level, sinking, motion transfer, support, pressure relief, thickness, layers & construction, warranty, etc. Most people suffer from back pain due to using the bad mattress. You have to choose supportive, comfortable, healthy, and durable mattress.

There is a local guy in BR who makes mattresses for a damn good price and does an awesome job. Can't remember the name of the company though. He does it custom. I'd recommend that if anyone knows the name

Wholesale Mattress and Factory. Mine should be ready any day now. Went to his shop and ordered one about 10 days ago.

Think I will combine it with a Chili Pad or Ooler for cooling once it comes in. Recently got a Coop Eden pillow also. Sleep game trending up.

That's where we bought ours. It's several years old and has been awesome.

Innerspring
Latex
Memory foam
Pillow top
Adjustable

What is everyone’s preference. My current mattress is a pillow top California king but it’s time for a new mattress and I need one that doesn’t make me feel stiff or have lower back pain when I wake up.

I have a standard model Casper king. Have had it since 2017. It’s amazing. Completely satisfied.

Edit: wow this is an old arse thread. Just realized.

I don’t care if you are 24 or 64. Ditch buying a queen and get a king. Not even close. You are welcome.

mounting is difficult with a memory foam or latex. body sinks low in the mattress and you feel like climbing out of a hole

list prices are always 2x the actual sales price.

returns are disallowed for any spot of dirt bigger than 1/32 inch

It’s hard to recommend one specific mattress, but I wouldn’t spend more than $1000 on whatever I bought. There are some great mattresses under that price point.

I bought a Bear mattress and couldn't be happier. Kinda pricey though at 1500.00 for a king mattress.
