I'm 24 years old. 6'2 and about 160 lbs if that helps (I know, I'm skinny). I'm looking for a queen sized mattress...

Does anyone have any recommendations? I'm probably not going to buy the most expensive mattress on the market, but I don't have a problem with spending some money. I've heard several people mentioning the Casper Mattress ($850), but I don't know what other good options there are to compare it to..

anyone have any recommendations? Any mattresses to avoid? Any great deals?

My number one recommendation is don't tear off the tag or you will be serving foot longs with Jared in prison.

We have used bedinabox.com and really liked it. Not sure if it fits your budget, never looked at the prices.

Also had a Serta that did well.

You have to adjust the number

Everyone is different. Go to places and try them out. Ignore anyone telling you what to get...it's what works for them.

Seriously, you should have tried a number other than 69.

This is probably the best advice.

It wasn't horrible, just never seemed to be perfect no matter where I would set it. And the two sides would be different.

Also not enough bounce for really active bed activities.

Department stores usually have sales and good prices, so don't rule them out. Serta is my favorite

So my recommendation would to be to not pick a sleep number.

There is a local guy in BR who makes mattresses for a damn good price and does an awesome job. Can't remember the name of the company though. He does it custom. I'd recommend that if anyone knows the name.

Am I reading this correctly? You ordered a mattress and didn't look at the price?

I bought a Best Price brand 12" memory foam w/ pressure point relief mattress from Amazon. It's definitely comparable to some I tried out that cost twice as much. Cost just under $400. Would recommend!

Yes.

I'm sure I saw the price, but it wasn't a factor.

Yeah, I don't see the problem with that...I've done that with my last two Wives.
