"You Must Remember This"
Tales from Hollywood's first century, it examines the cultural impact of Hollywood and how history/culture impacted Hollywood. Shows are all less than an hour, often focus on various stars or studios. Particularly recommend the 12 part series, "Charles Manson's Hollywood." Very entertaining!

Thanks.
All i've listened to recently are the bigger pockets podcasts and the art of manliness. I don't really like the AOM one too much...I think the thing I like about the bigger pockets is that it is basically a series of real folks telling real stories about their successes and failures...(in real estate)

Also, if you are listening to a podcast that will help you fall asleep at night. Check out: Sleep With Me Podcast
quote:
Insomnia? Can't fall asleep? Mind racing at night? Worries keeping you awake? This is the podcast designed to help you fall asleep. If you've tried pills, hypnosis, guided meditation and ASMR to no avail it is time to try "Sleep With Me". Sleep With Me is a bedtime story that lets you forget your problems but progressively gets more boring until you fall to sleep. So get in bed, press play and drift off into dreamland. This will be like one of those guided meditations to carry you off to slumber. "Sleep With Me" is a groundbreaking podcast that uses boredom superpowers to help you fall asleep. So get in bed, press play and drift off into dreamland. If you have trouble falling asleep or insomnia you are in the right place! The perfect blend of boredom and engagement so you can peacefully drift off. This podcast is a bit silly and odd like a funny dream you can't remember. Set your phone aside, press play, close your eyes, snuggle in and fall asleep with me.

As others have mentioned, Hardcore History is awesome and will kill a lot of time. If you need a bit of a break during the trip and are in your 20s or 30s, I'd recommend Pardon My Take. It's a sports podcast from Barstool Sports that will pretty much teach you nothing about what is going on in the sports world, but it's damn funny.

Seems like we could could inundate Ace with requests for a NOLA live show. Thoughts?

quote:Reminds me of Shutdown Fullcast w/Spencer Hall. Those dudes do not give a single frick about CFB right now (Why would they). So most of the conversations turn into them talking about Gainesville Florida, BBQ and the last time they got drunk at an LSU game.
