I was in Orange Beach for Mullet Toss and on Saturday night we went to check out this place called Live Bait. We had never been. The line was out the door and as we are about to get let inside, this guy pays $2,000 in cash to get him, his buddy, and 4 chicks inside and a “VIP table.”

I went to the ‘86 mullet toss by accident during a planned 3 day weekend trip to orange beach that turned into 11 days that resulted in me going on academic probation at LSU. I spent ~$150 the entire trip. That included two ATM trips of $30. Total.

While I do not have any memory of 6 and a half of those 11 days, it is an unassailable fact (and maybe even a Law of Physics) that I had more fun than those six people combined.

I must be really tired… I read this three times before I realized it wasn’t some Latin phrase.

I like to spend money but I look at this and knowing what EDC is, it just makes me tired

This must be super-VIP. I have been to EDC as general admission. And I just drank my $17 titos and redbull like a normal person.

They should have ordered one bucket of Miller High Life just to round out the ticket.

Nah, it's for the currently wealthy that won't be five years from now. Pro Athletes, Hollywood types who caught a break, pop music icons that will be washed up in a few, etc.

Believe it or not, there’s plenty of middle aged rich dudes that party hard. Go to any top tier club in vegas and you’ll see a few tables with guys in their 40s and 50s.

Athletes are worth 100s of millions of dollars. $100k on bottle service is nothing.

What is this “All are Welcome” shite for $11k? You bitches are absolutely not welcome if I’ve got to pay $11k.

Likely just a package of some of all things on menu. Like 1 bottle vodka, 1 bottle tequila, 3 champagne, 3 rose or something.

They were 30 bucks short of their contractual spending?

Yup, for big meetings they will negotiate a food and beverage minimum. My girlfriend works in high end hotel sales and it's negotiated along with room rates.

How bout the $30 "UNMET MINIMUM"? What the hell is the "minimum" here?

The subtotal is exactly $120k. The unmet minimum of $30 was used to get the subtotal to exactly $120k.

So the table minimum was $120k.
