It was the power associated with it. No different than the political wrangling that we see today with Rep vs Dem.

The country was pretty close to not being established over the same issues and balance of power. Honestly, I'm surprised it took 85 years before a state tried to secede from the US.

So you don’t think native Americans were violent savages?

Great. Then post the source showing that exact sentence.

Not “basically what he meant.” Not a TYT host summarizing it. Not a Reddit meme-caption. The actual transcript/audio where Walsh says those exact words.

Pretty fricking sick of you trying to spin it.

you’re plagiarizing a Reddit meme paraphrasing Walsh’s actual opinion on the matter to enforce a negative view of him in a thread on a completely different subject. Who’s doing the spin job? Pathetic.

Not anymore violent than anyone else that feuds over land.

Maybe Walsh should discuss how violent civilized Stalin was….since he was so civilized…and these uncivilized people are so much more violent.

His shite is as bad as Tucker Carlson and Megyn. Get these loons out of the actual conservative cause

I haven’t seen it. Nor have I seen the one the OP is referencing. But you seem to have a very firm, deeply researched opinion on the quality of Matt Walsh’s work, so I’ll defer to your objective film criticism.

That said, pretending Native American tribes were universally peaceful victims with no history of violence or warfare is a pretty childish version of history.

What’s the point? I’m sure he just argues over semantics about how it was actually not about slavery blah blah when we all know it was.

Try watching it before making presumptions.

Yawn. Coming from a devout Lefitst, this means nothing to me.

Criticize the real quote all you want, it’s not mine. But don’t launder internet telephone into quotation marks and then act confused when someone notices. And thanks for once again proving you get your talking points from Reddit. lulz.

Proven moderate klark. I actually agree with walsh on his entire transgender crusade.

To have a strong society you need adequate birth rates. However, the birth rates need to come from married people having children, not singles or single teens which lead to long term poverty

Yep. Because even when it's a direct passage from the Bible it's wrong because it's reddit.

What's gross about that?

16 year olds getting married and having kids was pretty accepted until very recently..

I personally wouldn't recommend it but if a 16 year old wants to get married, what's the big deal with that?

Your Bible example makes my point for me. A direct Bible passage can be checked against the actual text.

But if I took from Matthew 10:34, “I did not come to bring peace, but a sword” and the used that to suggest Jesus wanted people to stab their relatives. It would be a similar spin job.

That’s my issue with your original post before you pivoted away from it multiple times. You and Reddit summarized Walsh’s argument in the most inflammatory way possible and then pretended your summary was word-for-word. Lazy.
