This is comical. You and The Boat think you’re smarter than people who have dedicated their entire life to studying infectious diseases. Peak Tigerdroppings.

Yeah, here come the history revisionists
"There is no such thing as Covid"
"Covid isn't a virus"
"Covid hardly killed anyone"
Yeah, I remember all those threads and posts but I am not going pull them up

I will say initially I understood the “2 week” thing to get a better understanding of what was happening. I would have rathered nothing but I understood. Anything beyond 2 weeks once we knew who was at risk and the whole dog and pony show with the shot was absolutely ludicrous.

Then you're lucky, or more likely, a hermit.

On the political side there were a few nut cases that still don’t believe covid existed but I think most rational people could easily see that the left was going to use the crisis the push voting in their favor. They managed to get record votes and win an election and then couldn’t come anywhere close to repeating those numbers last year.

I bet those parents are on the ZeroCovid Reddit forum. Those poor kids need to be removed bc the parents are mentally ill.

Good luck to all you Covidians ever being trusted again.

The problem is, how will we know when there is a serious outbreak of a deadly bug?
Will we have to wait for millions to die?
Is there no such thing as deadly communicable diseases?

It’s pretty hilarious how many of you supported lockdowns and were tricked to think this would be the worst virus in history.
The cruise ship Diamond Princess showed pretty accurately how covid was going to play out, but politicians and bureaucrats didn't pay attention.

The WHO’s Global Health Estimates (GHE) from prior years suggest that around 55-56 million people die annually from all causes each year.
The World Health Organization (WHO) reported that by December 31, 2020, the official global death toll from COVID-19 was approximately 1.8 million. 3.2 percent of ALL DEATHS
According to the WHO’s Global Status Report on Road Safety approximately 1.35 million people died n 2020 in road traffic crashes worldwide, And that number is stable EVERY year. 2.4 percent of ALL DEATHS
As the numbers are not that far off why have we not shut down all of the roads and banned all cars in the world?
FWIW, For 2019, the global estimate for flu deaths comes from the range of 290,000 to 650,000 respiratory deaths annually, as cited by the WHO and based on a 2017 CDC-led study published in The Lancet.

I don’t know a single person who died of Covid. My mother - 85 years old at the time - never even got sick. Not a sniffle. She’s unvaxxed, takes zero meds for anything and will probably live to 100 years old. I only know 2-3 people who were TOLD they had “Covid.”

worse are the blowhards who can't let covid go
If there had been any sort of mea culpa by the COVIDIOTS that they overstepped, made mistakes, or systems put in place to make sure the idiocy wasn't repeated, maybe some could let it go. Can Whitmer or her replacement once again ban the sales of seeds at a Walmart? Can DoE issue "guidance" that any child that has been in contact with a live chicken in the last two weeks be barred from attending school for a quarantine period? What's to stop them?
But there hasn't been. The public health scare is now an all powerful precious which can be trotted out whenever convenient for all sorts of purposes, and most of us know it.

The original lockdowns were a good precaution that almost everyone agreed on. The original strain of the virus actually overwhelmed Chinese hospitals and caused tons of deaths, and we didn’t have enough study or experience to expect it would be different elsewhere. Everything after the first couple months became BS though
