I actually did know someone who died of OG COVID, but that doesn't mean that the actual deaths weren't fudged beyond belief for the sake of fear and that the whole response was all a test run for authoritarianism.

Southwest was the biggest suckass company.
Wear a mask, and no talking.
Point at the picture of soft drink you want, and no alcohol.
I hope their stock continues to fall.

What exactly is your point? You posted a graph that supported a drop in influenza, which also footnoted that there was not any data for the period in question.

not surprising at all if you understand how the flu spreads and how testing changed to the higher priority virus.
Well which one is it? And Does the flu spread like the higher priority virus?

That's not the original COVID thread.

Sometimes I wonder if it was the treatment that killed people more than Covid. Didn’t they find later it had something to do with blood and the vents were actually causing the deaths?

The vents were causing pneumonia. Supposedly they killed more people than the 'vid.

It's a hard metric to truly measure. If you were going on a vent you were already in bad shape and faced a good chance of death without one.

How fricking bored are you today?

Incorrect. I knew something was off immediately. I remember making a Facebook post after going to Walmart in March 2020 - 6 feet apart, masks, only 2-3 people in at a time - and said basically, “This is bullshite. They are lying to us. I am not living in apocalyptic fear like this over a cold virus.”
I never got vaxxed and wore a mask maybe a half dozen times. Once was at a funeral out of respect to the family (not a Covid death.)
Lots of people knew it was some kind of psyop/government control and manipulation plan or at the very least a massive overreaction.

I believe they just didn’t know what to do. Take politics, Fauci, et al out of it and so many scare tactics. Those who did this will never be held accountable.

I was on tRant in 2020 but had yet to discover the Poli board.
I was in the hospital in late March of 2020 (not for Covid). I remember like all of us seeing clips on TV and online of overwhelmed hospitals, people dying in the hallway on gurneys, etc. I’ve posted a reply in this thread about what I thought early on of the “pandemic” if you want to read it.
This was at UAB in Birmingham. I was on the 5th floor of one of the buildings for 4 days. I walked the hall usually every day and it was virtually deserted. I would guess less than 50% of beds were occupied.
When I was discharged I walked downstairs through the maze of floors and elevators by myself - odd because usually hospitals will wheel you down in a chair - because they wouldn’t allow visitors. I saw multiple deserted and dark nursing stations. No crowded floors of sick people. The ER was the usual crowd, nothing wild.
It’s anecdotal, I can’t prove anything from my experience, and it might be explainable, but I knew then we were being lied to.

When someone is barely able to breathe the options are limited. You do what your training says to keep the person alive which was put them on a vent. Thats not a scare tactic.

Obviously my post was a vague statement. Could go either way
I agree with you though. 2 types of people. People that get scared and those that question everything. Not many in the middle

Understood.
But some of us just went on with our lives, knowing that the government ( as it usually does) was overreacting and made intelligent decisions about a sudden illness that could be potentially life-threatening.
The weakness and drama in some of these posts is par for the course, and is the same vein as a segment of the population that is still masking.
