frick Lexington and UK. Move to Louisville, geaux Cards!!!!

I absolutely love Lexington. My show horse was up there so I was there at least twice a week. It’s especially nice if you are a horsey type person

If it didn’t mean being closer to the people I fled the state to avoid, I’d move there.

Cincinnati isn’t bad and appears to be improving.

Spalding's bakery donuts for the win. Also bourbon. I could live there.

I was back up at the horse park years ago for a show, and my dad made a big deal out of making sure he picked up donuts from there to bring. I’d never heard of it, but they were very good.

Aspy with the Ls down
Lexington is nice. Louisville, despite the murder rate (which is largely concentrated to certain areas), has a great food scene and park system. I’d live in either (currently in Louisville suburbs).

Lexington is a pretty nice town. They are revitalizing downtown, bringing town branch back above ground.
Will be lost of walking and biking green space.
Crime is up some, like every larger city, but great communities just outside of there. Beautiful horse farms and scenery just outside of town.
All four seasons. There are worse places.
Wildcatmike lives there

Seems as though Louisville has a public shooting in the news today....weird timing.

Saw it was at the DMV in Valley Station.
I’m genuinely surprised more people haven’t gone postal at the DMV.

Bowling Green is really nice. Western Kentucky is gorgeous and an hour from Nashville.

We were just over in Bowling Green a couple of months back. I was amazed at how much BG has grown in the past ten years. Traffic on Scottsville Road was similar to Louisville and Lexington traffic.
Fountain Square in downtown is really cool and seems like local business was doing pretty good.

so we were curious where 100,000 people pregamed.

100k aren’t tailgating there but this seems like it would be a blast. Boat down the river for the game

I don't disagree...looks awesome and super unique to basically TN and WA.
But as you noted, not more than 1,000 people doing that. No clue where the other 99k are getting after it.

I've never been to the Kentucky Horse Park there in Lexington, but I would like to go. The great racehorse, John Henry and others are buried there.

My company used to have an office on the square. Mayberry feel to it.

I've gone to a few games there. They Tailgate from Thompson Boling thru the baseball areas and up and over Chapman Highway.
