We need to bring back public shaming.
If you don't tip just because you don't feel like it, restaurants should know. You should be made to feel nervous even ordering takeout.

None of this has to happen. The consumer can take a stand.
I'm not that consumer. I tip because I'm embarrassed not to. I wish I had the balls to stop.

I feel pretty confident in saying this. There is a reason restaurant staff, regardless of their ethnicity hates waiting on or dealing with this demographic. No one likes dealing with a headache, especially one that looks for any reason not to pay or tip. On the flip side I know many black folks, some in the industry, some not who despise this behavior more than anyone. They believe it fricks up their dining experience when they go out. Most of them feel the need to way overtip just to combat the stereotype.

Pretty easy to spot most bad tippers from a mile away, no matter their race.
