The 6.7 is a better engine.

2026 Ram 1500 models—the return of the 5.7-liter HEMI® V8

The earth is healing.

With that e-torque crap...a 48 volt battery...ugh.

If you’re looking to replace the battery in your Ram 1500 equipped with the eTorque system, you can expect to spend between $2,426 and $2,472

The regular Hemi was just fine.

This has to be the dumbest shite I've heard of. Why not just put a generator in the bed instead of wasting a perfectly good engine just to charge the batteries.

Did you read the specs?

Not to mention that if it has the same 26 gallon tank my RAM had that's 26.5 mpg.

More hp, torque, better mileage and better towing capacity than the Hemi.

I'm somewhat interested.

I got a 6.7 it’s a good diesel engine, deleted. But the 5.9 straight six is a cockroach.

3.6 is damn solid. Not super-powerful, but bulletproof.

That said, I'm not hybrid fan.

you can’t drive the truck, even though you have a perfectly good engine under the hood. Strange. There should be a button that would switch to engine power only…at least for emergencies.

That would require an entire drivetrain to be added. How much redundancy do you want? Can you switch your truck over to battery power now?

10x better.

As far as hybrid tech, I still feel it adds a layer of complexity that honestly isn't really necessary.

Its still way better than a pure EV in terms of range and practically.

We're a long way behind in infrastructure

Is reliability going to be standard or an option?

With Dodge, it's always been an out of stock option.

Reading this thread reminds me how fricking stupid people are.

The ramcharger is an example of how electric cars should be done.

So put shifter between you and the cup holders?
Ok, I’d rather keep the big center console and go back to a column shift.

I've had the 2011 and 2013 with the center shift and a 2017 with the TV tuner. There is more than enough room space the center shite.

If a man needs more space than that, he should just bring his man purse.

It is. Hybrids are the only way EVs make sense.
