Why with online shopping some of you wait until December 23rd to do shite is beyond me.
Well, Mingo, you see … I’m a guy. I don’t really think about gift giving unless I’m forced to.

Ordered personalized wrapping paper on Dec 12 and it stated it would be delivered between Dec 18-21st. Amazon updated delivery yesterday and said it would be delivered Dec 27. Deciding whether to keep it for next year or make them provide refund. Talked to Amazon yesterday and told them I would wait until Dec 24 before filing claim.
Ordered a toy on Dec 9 which was suppose to deliver Dec 17. Got an update which said it wouldn’t arrive until after Christmas so I ordered it from Walmart also hoping to get it in before Christmas. Damn Amazon package showed up yesterday and Walmart package isn’t arriving until after Christmas now. Guess I’ll send Walmart back when it arrives.

Of all the stereotypes about women I fail the most at, it's shopping of any kind.
My ex wife and new husband were both frantically ordering Christmas gifts on the 22nd when I went over to cook latkes. Some things never change.

Some things I ordered are delivered that afternoon. (The distribution center in east Knoxville is less than 20 miles from us). Others take longer.
That's the way of the world right now and it beats running all over town and still not finding what's wanted or needed.

I'm Jewish, she isn't. It's called Chrismakkuh. Everyone likes brisket and fried food, so it works.
Mingo, at least he's not a crayon eater. My ex likes hairy knuckle draggers, so it's on brand.

Had a sick kid and ordered a new thermometer. Was supposed to come in Monday, then today, now tomorrow.
Or just maybe go to a store to get one right away?

After the first failed delivery, we had to order a Barbie Dream House from 2 separate vendors. Target arrived via UPS beat to shite and possibly opened. Amazon was just insanely late even on the second attempt.

No option for return or refund either.
What did you order that does not allow a return? Never ran into that on Amazon.

Well yeah, but if I need a thermometer for my sick kid I’m not ordering off Amazon then complaining about them missing the delivery date

In our town they placed one of those Amazon boxes. The Amazon truck pulls up and puts things in lockers, then all these local delivery drivers pull up and load their vehicles and start delivering packages.
Was going pretty well until a few nights ago we get a knock on our door. Didn't think much of it because they can deliver packages up until 9pm. I open the door and there is a neighbor from down the road holding 3 packages. She said he was pulling up in her driveway and a car drives by rolls the window down and throws packages out into the ditch. She went over and picked them up, saw our address and brought them to us.
About an hour later, I was walking the dogs and the neighbor from across the street stops in front of our house said she had been driving around because Amazon sent a picture showing her package delivered but it clearly wasn't her house in the picture. I told her about the packages in the ditch story and she says well that would explain it, around the corner there are envelopes in the ditch. My wife and I drive over there and sure enough, 3 more packages in the ditch. These weren't ours but another persons in our neighborhood. We dropped them off at their door.
First time we've ever had any issues with deliveries from Amazon.

All of my stuff I’m giving was delivered timely. But I ordered 2 weeks ago. My gift from my daughter is delayed.

There lies the issue. And even if that happens, the chances that person speaks English are very slim.
