Alcohol is too far part of social acceptance. That is what makes it hard to quit. The withdrawal symptoms are nothing compared to other drugs. Try being addicted to lortab for 5 years and then quitting cold turkey.

I hated the shite. Sent me into a reallllly bad depression. Got to where I was having suicidal thoughts so I got rid of that shite with the quickness.

I'm the same way. I'll never admit to most of it either because only eye witness accounts exist and most of them are married with kids now too.
A little bourbon, wine or beer is about it for me these days.
I can't smoke the mj. I'd probably trade it in for that if I could.

I was aware that you can die while quitting, so I litterally used a measuring cup to give my self smaller and smaller doses of vodka to ween off over a month or so. I didn't have the DTs. My main issue was insomnia and lethargy.

Got in touch with my plug and I’ll be back to smoking the mj tomorrow thankfully. Back to no alcohol and a full nights sleep thank the lord
