Question about the Mardi Gras virus spreading

How did all these people spread this virus everywhere on Mardi Gras since we didn’t have multiple Corona cases till March 10th.
Why are we judging this virus wave of numbers if the numbers weren’t already there during Mardi Gras?

Nobody fricking knew about it before March

Incubation period is up to 14 days.

What was March 10? The first confirmed case? It was in NO before then. Mardi Gras was a big contributor, but not the only one. Think how many people from places like Washington and NY came. Probably even some from Italy.

Takes the virus everywhere to spread everywhere
This virus WAS NOT spread primarily due to out of town era being here, ITS BEEN HERE.

How do you know did you test everyone? Could have been thousands that were asymptomatic. Plenty of variables in the question but we all know it’s trumps fault LaToya said so.

People wasn't being tested until a few weeks after mardi gras.. But because the cases have exploded in and around New Orleans it has to be contributed to something and since Mardi Gras is an environment that is perfect for it to spread it, it is the logical reason. With that said, I don't think there is anything official that says it is because of Mardi Gras.

Explosion is primarily due to volume of testing. Keep up. Yes the wave has grown, its been a wave. The curve is just based on volume.

It doesn’t affect everyone the same. That shiitty feeling you had after 5 days of MG and you wrote off to overindulgence could have very well been the virus. Meanwhile someone else is laid up still.
ETA...I’d be curious of the results of an antibody test for the general population. Even though that is not possible for the masses at the moment.

I was just looking to see when the first confirmed case was in the US. For some reason I was thinking it was in mid February, but it was January 20th...

Curious what the OP's angle is here. Is this a "don't frick with Mardi Gras" post or an "Oxford theory" post?

Testing. Don't be dumb
I’m not. But people are letting testing and case numbers affect their panic when in reality this shite has been prevalent for a while.

I mentioned many times that I didn’t think Nola would fare well with virus with it ramping up at MG. MG is like the CNY, add Nola’s filth to equation and it’s not far from a Wuhan wet market. Add over a million people so congested that they threw people under the float and you have perfect breeding grounds.
